Kirkland Art GalleryKirkland’s arts scene is sophisticated and international, but also vibrant and whimsical. Art performances, exhibits, classes and galleries are abundant throughout the city. Outdoor sculptures and installations created by leading nationally-known artists are dotted throughout Kirkland parks, sidewalks, and along the waterfront for public enjoyment.
 
Art Galleries—Whether you appreciate art or collect it, you’ll find a number of fine art galleries in Kirkland.

Performance—Local performance, theater and dance centers bring the arts alive in Kirkland. Catch many major appearances and productions, comedy shows, and live performances.

Public Art— A perfect way to explore Kirkland is by touring on foot the more than two dozen outdoor sculptures.

Sculpture Gallery—Park Lane in downtown Kirkland is a vibrant festival street that features outdoor sculptures displayed on a rotating basis and for sale to the public.

Creative Classes—Just being in Kirkland will inspire you to be artistic. Find your creativity outlet through a class or workshop.

Artist in Residence—Kirkland’s current Artist in Residence is Terra Holcomb with an ephemeral art project on the Cross Kirkland Corridor.

Art Walks
Kirkland’s art walk provide an opportunity to see new art in a festive environment.

Art Shows and Exhibits
Local galleries and hotels have rotating art exhibits throughout the year complete with opening parties and receptions.

Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission



The Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission is a volunteer board that works to help arts, cultural and heritage grow and thrive in the City of Kirkland. Along with supporting art and cultural initiatives throughout the year the Cultural Arts Commission advises the City Council on art acquisition and promotes strategic arts planning in Kirkland.
