Kirkland is home of beautiful waterfront parks and beaches with an array of boating activities. Spectacular year-round sunsets reflect the mood of the region and the season. Boat Moorage
No other location on Lake Washington or Lake Union has as much public transient moorage as Kirkland. Moorage in downtown Kirkland at Marina Park and South Dock offer a combine 90 year-round moorage slips to the public with excellent access to downtown shops and dining, waterfront parks, overnight accommodations and local events. First three hours are free! Additional moorage is located at waterfront restaurants and accommodations.

Lake Washington in the Seattle area is the second largest lake in the state of Washington behind Lake Chelan providing excellent boating opportunities.

Kayaking and Paddle Surfing
The Kirkland is an excellent place to kayak or paddle board. Beach hop along the shore to visit the many waterfront parks stopping for lunch or to watch a beach volleyball game. Enjoy wildlife in Juanita Bay and nearby dining at Juanita Village or downtown Kirkland.
