Friday

  • Dine at Trellis Restaurant (Heathman Hotel 220 Kirkland Avenue, 425.284.5800) for dinner, named by Sunset Magazine in 2011 as one of the best places for farm-fresh food.
  • Stay at the Heathman Hotel, (220 Kirkland Avenue, 425.284.5900) located in downtown Kirkland.
  • Catch the Second Thursday Art and Wine Walk features fabulous art and wine at the Kirkland Warehouse Wineries in Kirkland. Each winery (Northwest Cellars, Waving Tree Winery) will have a different artist in their space, and there will be snacks, music... and wine!
  • Be sure not to miss the Howard Mandville Gallery (120 Park Lane, 425.889.8212), Lakeshore Gallery (107 Park Lane, 425.827.0606).

 Saturday

  • Head to Caffe Rococo, a favorite local coffee shop, on Park Lane (136 Park Lane 425.803.9081) for coffee and breakfast.
  • Browse the galleries and shops along Park Lane, Lake Street and Central Way. Don’t miss Simplicity Décor, (126 Park Lane, 425.803.0386), Ivy (141 Park Lane, 425.828.2648).
  • Admire the sculptures as you do the sculpture walk along Lake Washington. Enjoy a great seafood lunch at Anthony's Homeport, (135 Lake Street South, 425.822.0225) enjoying the view of the lake.
  • Drive up to Juanita Bay Park for an Audubon Tour of the wildlife habitat (see website for a calendar of tours).
  • Go next door to explore the newly redeveloped Juanita Beach Park. Take a photo of yourself framed by the ‘living’ sculpture frame.
  • Have dinner at the award-winning Café Juanita (9702 Northeast 120th Place, 425.823.1505) and pair great Northern Italian food with local Northwest wines.
  • Enjoy a live show at the Kirkland Performance Center (350 Kirkland Avenue, 425.828.0422).
