Walking Kirkland

A number of easy walks can be found within Kirkland’s distinctive neighborhoods. In this section there are printable trail maps that include walk paths, information on the routes, photos of what there is to see along the trail and walking and safety tips. These Easy Walks are provided courtesy of Seattle & King County Public Health. For walkers who track steps, the average conversion is 2,000 steps per mile.

Lakeview WalkTake the Lake View Walk
Look for the Lake View Walk way finding signs along Lake Washington Blvd that will lead you on a six-mile scenic walk along the water and through downtown Kirkland.

Interlaken Trailblazers, the local Eastside Volkssporting Club, also hosts two other year-round walks in the city. Both of the AVA Volkswalks are 10KM and are free to the public.
