Submit Your Event

Thank you for submitting your event to ExploreKirkland.com. For events to be considered for a listing on the website, they must occur in Kirkland and be intended to attract visitors from outside of Kirkland. Please submit events by the 15th of the month prior to the month of the event to be included in monthly online events guide.

Please note: A permit is required for any fair, festival, concert, performance, show, parade, run, walk, bike, or other publicly attended activity, which is to be held in whole or in part upon publicly owned property or public right-of-way, or if held wholly upon private property, will nevertheless affect or impact the ordinary and normal use by the general public of public property or public rights-of-way within the vicinity of such event.

Type of Permits

  • Special Event Permit—for major events that cause the closure or limited use of streets, sidewalks, public parking, parks or other public venues normally accessible by the general public.
  • Park Use Permit—for parades, athletic events or other events that occur exclusively in city parks and do not include on-site sales of any kind.
  • Community Program Permit—for activities of an on-going nature which are open to the public and provided free of an admission charge, such as a weekly farmer’s market or performing arts series.
