The health and safety of our residents and visitors is the highest priority of the City of Kirkland. As part of King County, Kirkland is in Phase 2 of Governor Inslee’s “Safe Start” re-opening. This means that leisure travel is once again allowed throughout the county. In Kirkland, this means that more of our wonderful businesses, from beachfront cafes and boutiques to kayak rentals and golf bars, are able to serve you. Although many City services are available online, City Hall and most City buildings are closed to the public as part of our response to COVID-19.
We are adapting daily with innovation, resilience and good humor to ensure the health and safety of our residents and visitors. While we welcome visitors in compliance with the State of Washington's Safe Start plan, if you choose to stay at home, please know that we are busy planning for your arrival, ensuring your safe and energizing stay, and preparing to support your Covid19-compliant future adventure. We are a dynamic city, alive with the arts, at home with our enterprising heritage, and in love with our unique lifestyle. When the time is right for you, come and unwind, come and experience, come and stay. Until such time, stay healthy, stay safe and we’ll see you soon in Kirkland. #KirklandAwaits
