Bring a Buddy Try Hockey Free is designed for existing 8U players to introduce the game of hockey to a friend between the ages of 4 and 7. Volunteer coaches will be on the ice to assist in learning the basics. 8U players will interact with their buddies on the ice, while assisting them with learning, skating, and developing new hockey skills through experimental play and fun games like "Sharks and Minnows". Buddies do not need any previous skating or hockey experience and should not have participated in a prior Try Hockey Free or Rookies 2+ program.
