INSPIRED JULES IS MY CREATION TO HONOR AND SUPPORT WOMEN MAKERS, AND INSPIRE THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP JOURNEY!
I founded Inspired Jules to support women. All products are either handmade by me, women makers or curated from woman owned small businesses. I feel strongly about creating community among women over competition. Our customer experience is unique and intentionally focused on creating special moments and memories with each "be Inspired" shipper that leaves my she-shed studio. Yes - you read correctly, I work out of a shed my husband and I built during the long summer of 2020!
Expressing ourselves creatively was one of our family values and I am extremely fortunate to be blessed and nurtured by art in all forms.
My creative journey has been a winding road of discovery as I grew up in a household of artists who valued handmade gifts. I learned to sew by the time I was ten years old and began making my own jewelry in my twenties. After graduating with a degree in Fashion Apparel and Merchandising, I went on to work for large consumer product companies until I stayed home after having my first child. Staying home allowed for time to dream of having my own business, so I started sewing and selling baby boutique items at Farmer's Markets, trade shows and wholesale. Fast forward through another decade, I went back to the corporate world to work for technology start-up companies with a focus on client experience.
Secretly, my heart was always pulling me back to the entrepreneur life of creating.
Then came 2020, allowing another creative shift and giving me the opportunity to start Inspired Jules. My desire is to help you send and receive inspiration through symbolic handmade jewelry and gifts. In turn, Inspired Jules will give back to the community and organizations which align to our mission of supporting women.
