Bringing the art of film to Kirkland

Lights, camera, action! Join us for another great season of innovative and evocative films from around the world at the 39th Seattle International Film Festival. For five years, Kirkland has served as a screening site for this extremely popular festival, one of only two cities outside Seattle to participate.

This year, more than 30 films will be shown at the Kirkland Performance Center between May 30 and June 9. Before or after the film, stop for a bite to eat or end the evening with a night cap in one of Kirkland’s many fine restaurants and wine bars. Download our Dining Guide for a complete list.

On Thursday, May 30, join us for SIFF’s Kirkland Opening Night at the Kirkland Performance Center. A reception catered by Volterra begins at 6 p.m., followed by a screening at 8 p.m. of “Papadopoulos & Sons,” a British comedy about a Greek Londoner who loses everything in the recession except for a run-down fish and chip shop.
