Featured Activity: Mother's Day Half Marathon  Mother's Day Run
The Kirkland’s Mother’s Day Half Marathon & 5K run on Sunday, May 12, is a fun and athletic way to celebrate fitness on Mother's Day!
The half marathon follows a scenic, point-to-point route through Kirkland's beautiful neighborhoods starting at the campus of Northwest University on 108th Avenue and later finishing at Juanita Beach Park. The route will also feature more than five miles along the Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail, a newly completed 5.75-mile-long trail through the city with a compacted crushed-gravel surface.

Featured Exhibit: “Pareidolia People”
In coordination with the City of Kirkland and the Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission, King County Engineering for Kids, the Kirkland Arts Center presents a community exhibit that features a collection of six, colorful outdoor works by Ed McCarthy displayed along the Park Lane Avenue to enhance the cultural vibrancy of Kirkland.
