Featured Activity: Tall Ships—September 2–6 Tall Ships
Tall Ships—The tradition continues! This Labor Day, plan your visit to Carillon Point and unleash your “inner pirate”! Our favorite historic tall ships make their way from Bremerton to dock in Kirkland, WA from September 2–September 6, 2015. The Lady Washington, is better known as the HMS Interceptor from the Disney movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” and the Hawaiian Chieftain, is a replica of a centuries-old merchant vessel. The ships will offer dockside tours and a variety of sailings on Lake Washington during their stay in Kirkland. Crew will be on hand in period costume to answer questions, tell stories, and provide insight about life onboard the ship. These unique sailing excursions offer an amazing opportunity to experience an exciting piece of history and witness amazing views of Lake Washington. For more information and to purchase tickets visit Grays Harbor Historical Society.
