Public Art

Kirkland's many creative public outdoor works of art can often stop you in mid-step. Whimsical, dynamic and poignant art sculptures by leading regional and nationally known artists are dotted throughout Kirkland in its city parks, sidewalks and alongside the waterfront. Look out for a pair of bronze grizzlies roaming in the middle of downtown, children gleefully leaping over a never ending puddle, and giant hares taking a breather on the street corner.

Take a self-guided downtown art tour (PDF-448 kb) created by the Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission.

For additional self-guided tours of Kirkland public art, download the STQRY phone app to learn find out what is close by and learn more about each sculpture.

Park Lane in downtown Kirkland hosts an outdoor sculpture gallery. Curated by the Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission, sculptures are displayed on a rotating basis and for sale to the public.
