March 30, 2026 through June 1, 2026 (10 Sessions)
Transform raw clay into expressive sculptural forms in this 10-week course designed for artists eager to push beyond traditional pottery. You’ll develop your own unique concepts with the instructor's guidance on how to bring them to life. Through personalized instruction, group discussions, and hands-on exploration, you’ll refine your technical skills while learning to make intentional artistic choices.
Throughout the course, we’ll examine the work of professional sculptors, analyzing their decisions and approaches to form, surface, and composition. Group critiques will provide valuable feedback, help you refine your ideas, overcome creative blocks, and strengthen your sculptural voice. By the end, you'll have a deeper understanding of ceramic sculpture and work that reflects your individual vision.
