Sketchbooking: Planting your Idea Garden Intensive
November 30, 2026 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Monday and Wednesday, November 30 - December 2, 2026 (2 sessions)
This class is part of the Intensives Program that KAC is offering for this quarter. Intensives are offered as a longer class period (4 hours) and 2 sessions per week.
Suffering from artist's block? Learn to overcome the block by accessing the rich treasure trove of ideas in your own mind with this 2 session course focusing on image and ideation.
Over the span of this course, we will develop a consistent creative practice, covering a wide variety of image-making and idea-stimulating methods, as well as gaining the skills to bind sketchbooks by hand! You can expect to leave the course with at least one fully-bound sketchbook, and a toolbox of exciting ideas and techniques to fill it with. This course is appropriate for Teens and Adults with interests in all mediums - from 2D visual artists to sculptors to writers - who are craving more consistency in their art making practice. We'll work both independently and collaboratively to explore the things that inspire us to make, as well as turning the lens inward to examine our own creative processes.
Supplies will be provided.
