World's Largest Dog Party & Pawsitively Giving Day

On March 19, Cogir Senior Living communities across the country will unite for what may be the largest coordinated dog celebration in senior living history. In partnership with Humane World for Animals®, Cogir communities nationwide will host synchronized pet-focused events in support of the More Than a Pet® campaign. From 2pm-4pm each location will bring its own personality to the celebration. Activities will vary by community, and may include:
On-site dog adoption events
Donation drives supporting local shelters and Pets for Life partners
Dog treat decorating stations
Bubble play zones
Photo booths with themed props
Peanut butter painting experiences
Community “dog parties” open to residents, families and neighbors
The initiative underscores Cogir’s belief that pets are more than companions — they are family.

Cogir of Kirkland invites residents, families, and community partners to join us for Pawsitively Giving Day, a special pet donation drive supporting a local rescue organization.
Guests are encouraged to bring new or gently used pet items, including blankets, leashes, collars, toys, and other pet supplies. While you’re here, stop by our branded photo area to capture a moment and share your support for animals in need.
