Chef Holly Smith opened Cafe Juanita in the spring of 2000 to showcase her passion for hospitality and the cuisine of Northern Italy, interpreted through the finest ingredients from Italy and the Pacific Northwest. The menu at Cafe Juanita changes frequently to reflect the freshest available produce, meats and seafood. Holly believes in supporting sustainable agriculture and the outstanding growers who have committed their lives to resourceful usage of the land. The menu would not be complete without a comparable wine program. Cafe Juanita's award winning wine list focuses on Italian producers and rounds out with outstanding Northwest wines.
Excellent service is the hallmark of Cafe Juanita. The staff has received numerous accolades from guests, food media and the James Beard Foundation. Recently, Cafe Juanita was nominated for Outstanding Service and Outstanding Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation in the US.
