Teen Clay Camp!
June 22, 2026 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Have you ever wondered what you can make with clay? Whether you want to create utilitarian pottery or experiment with malleable clay to design garden art or sculptures, this workshop is for you! Come stimulate your mind and encourage your creativity while learning techniques like coiling, pinching, extruding, carving, and slab building in a fun and social environment this summer. We will create multiple pieces that can be used on a daily basis along with some small scale animal sculptures. Learn to decorate your work with underglazes and finish them off with glazes. Bring your favorite music to share, and get the creativity flowing to bring functional and sculptural clay pieces to life. No experience necessary – just bring your imagination!
Supply List:
Students are encouraged to bring an old towel, an apron, a brown bag lunch (each day), a water bottle, and appropriate clothes to get messy in. All other materials and supplies will be provided. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup two weeks after the last class.
