Off Leash Dog

Kirkland is an extremely dog friendly City. Canine companions are welcome in many venues around town, and both residents and visitors immensely enjoy Kirkland’s many outdoor opportunities for enjoying life with their favorite sidekicks. Dogs are welcome in all City parks, and several offer off-leash areas where dogs and dog owners alike can socialize and exercise freely. Consideration of park rules and pet etiquette will ensure the experience is enjoyable for all. Here are some basics:

  • Supervise your dog’s play. Be attentive and proactive.
  • Clean up after your dog
  • Don’t ever leave your dog unattended
  • Have a leash in hand at all times
