Waterfront

Kirkland's waterfront parks are the city's signature asset, its sparkling jewels and the heart and soul of its breezy outdoor culture. More than 25 miles of publicly accessible parkland line Kirkland's Lake Washington shoreline. Grassy lawns, public docks, picnic tables, meandering paths, bird-watching boardwalks, hiking trails, sandy beaches, bicycle lanes, playgrounds, sport courts and boat launches comprise can all be discovered along Kirkland's shoreline, beckoning visitors and residents with different gestures throughout all four seasons.
